Call for Papers


We invite papers from scholars (university-affiliated or independent), liberal arts alumni, and other interested lovers of the truth with reference to our conference mission. We especially invite practical reflections built on theoretical and philosophical bases.

You may find the following list of possible angles or frameworks helpful:

  • The origins of culture and/or stories of its rise or fall
  • Culture and logos—poetry, music, art, architecture, or technology
  • The intersection of culture and the wilderness
  • Work and leisure
  • Problems and Possibilities: rebuilding institutions—finance, education, town/city, …
  • The Four Loves—community, culture, and the common good
  • Sacrifice, the Sabbath, and Liturgical Prayer
  • Retreat, Reform, or Reintegrate? Strategic responses to postmodernity
  • Hearth and Home

Submission Details

Abstract

Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words, based on a proposed 20-minute paper, with a provisional title.

Bio

Include a brief bio of no more than 100 words.

Deadline

Send your submission by May 15.
